Travels with my heart

When I attended the opening night of KardiaVale in Cape Town recently, my ticket was in the form of an origami heart with wings...

Conspiracy of Clowns then requested that people post images on the CoC FB page telling where their 'hearts' had been.

As I knew that I would be visiting Vietnam, I brought mine 'heart' with me and these are some of the places it has already visited...

At the arrivals hall in Kuala Lumpur International Airport...

Sitting and waiting for our room at the Kingston Hotel...

At our favourite coffee shop in Saigon...we paid 3 visits there!

At Lau Dai restaurant for supper on our first night in Saigon...

At the War Remnants Museum...a very emotional day for both the heart and I!

On the boat as we start our day in the Mekong Delta...and it did not get sea sick...Brave heart!
Sharing a plate with some Dragon fruit ...
This Elephant fish was lunch, but the heart did not have the stomach to try some...

At the Vinh Trang Pagoda...

At the Pagoda in Nha Trang...

At a marble sculpting factory near Da Nang...

I have started asking people we interact with to hold the heart for me...this is Tuyen, our waitress from a boutique restaurant in Hue...she agreed!

The heart leaving Sapa...our final destination...the heart will be coming back to South Africa to continue its journey...
July 18, Madiba day...the heart on the wall of Mandela's room at Lilliesleaf Farm in Johannesburg...
Madiba sporting his "KardiaVale" heart as he leaves the court in Pretoria...
 A bullet proof heart...
Dark heart...hiding at the Farm, just like Mandela all those years ago...
a wartershed year for the ANC...this is outside the office at Lilliesleaf Farm.
