Hue through my lens...

My first impression was that Hue had more in common with Saigon than with Hoi An. Chaotic and bustling and just as difficult to cross the road!

I bought a wooden dragon from this fellow. At least I know he made it himself and that it is not some mass produced piece from China! We try to support the local artists where possible, when we travel...

A portion of the perfumed river at night...

Night time traffic near our hotel...I was trying to cross the road and take a picture at the same time! Just because it is dark does not mean that the scooters/cars or bicycles actually have to turn lights on!

 A rather snazzy scooter cover...

They obviously know their clients well...

A somewhat dodgy looking tattoo parlour...

And scooters...of course!

A large and noisy tour group in the foyer of our hotel...

Just one of the 'strange' dishes on offer at breakfast...not sure what it is as I stuck to scrambled eggs and other dishes that I could recognize...
