Time to explore...Somerset West to Stellenbosch

This was the view of the Helderberg Mountain range that greeted me when I awoke. The previous day clouds had obscured this spectacular view...
After being fooled by the pottery bulldog, I wanted to make sure what was real...this Guinea fowl certainly was
As was this Dragon fly...
But this Chameleon was not...
I discovered more art work
And a real chicken called "Jimmy Hendrix"...
We headed down the R44 to Stellenbosch only to find that these cyclists has eaten all the carrot cake at this particular coffee shop.Unfortunately for us we discovered this fact after we had ordered our coffee.
They do try to keep the streets clean...

Perhaps Donald Trump is thinking of doing a reality cooking program?

What was hiding behind this door?

I am not sure but the mail was still waiting to be removed.Maybe the owner is not back from vacation?

Lots of very distinctive art works scattered throughout the town centre

Not sure if this was student washing or an installation art work...

something a bit more modern but that I can understand

This house was on the main road.Part of a series of homes that are still used.

The awesome view from the winery...

we came here to find out about the slow food market...

and so had they.Too many people and too much food...

On our way to Somerset West we stopped off at this farm...

their scarecrows come in a variety of different shapes and sizes.

Guests have to opportunity to pick their own strawberries

As these scarecrows did not seem to be working,I assumed they were on lunch!

After lunch at a family restaurant in the local mall we headed back to the B&B for an afternoon siesta before heading off on our afternoon adventure
