Things to do at Indigo Bay resort and Spa,Bazaruto island

You can watch the locals fishing...

You can bird watch...

You can try dune boarding. This activity comes with a serious warning. It can become addictive! Only downside is that you have to keep climbing up the dunes to get down again...come on Rani, how about a dune lift of some sort?

My wife is much better at relaxation than I am...

Especially with one of these close at hand...

You can enjoy watching some of the "wildlife" on the beach...like this Ghost crab.

There are land based animals as this squirrel proved.

Sitting on the beach and contemplating the vastness of the ocean is an option..

A relaxing spa treatment could be just what the doctor ordered...

Or watching the sunset?

There is also the opportunity to visit the mangrove swamp and perhaps even get lucky enough to see a flock of Flamingos.

And,of course, there is snorkeling and scuba diving on offer...

My wife deciding to watch the fish rather than our final sunset on Bazaruto island.

For those who have the patience, deep sea angling is an option

There is horse riding that caters for both novice and experienced riders. Caro did better than me during the ride. I still harbour a fear of horses after losing a friend in a riding accident some years ago.

Sunset on Valentines day...it does not get any better than this!
