Fluffing up the tail feathers...the final day of the Total Economy Run

Showing off...the resident Peacock fluffing up his tail feathers

Pearl Thusi was looking to win a prize for the brightest attire...

Maurice and Pearl thought they might be late for their start time...so a run to the Parc Ferme was in order

Although I was staying at Pine Lake Inn, all the action was taking place here...

Carl van Vuuren and Werner Fourie set off on the last leg

Maurice Carpede and Pearl Thusi were not having much luck. A puncture as they left the start!

Accurate timing is very important...

Clerk of the course..Zybrand Wepener

Waiting for the flag to drop...

David Vlok in yet ANOTHER really bright t-shirt

Gerhard Horn had the unenviable task of pairing teams with observers...a science in itself.

David Vlok waving goodbye...

Fred Berange doing it for the Leopard Project...

A quick pitstop? Nope, just checking that all the doors were closed correctly

Observers and drivers milling around before their start

The Miss Earth finalists were doing well...not as many penalty points as expected.

Non-contestants...

And the intrepid 50/50 crew off to work...

The Miss Earth contestants have to make up the penalties they incurred on day one.

At least I don't have to worry about motorcars and fuel consumption...
