Jaci's Safari Lodge, Madikwe
Our Madikwe adventure begins...
We only saw two of these four...
Three of the five lodges we will be visiting over the course of the next eight days
Jaci's Safari Lodge...our accommodation
Jaci did all the interior design and LOVES colour! Even down to the green dyed Springbok skins next to the bed in the evening.
From the exterior
All the taps are correctly marked which stops surprises when stepping into a shower
The copper wash basins are special
The statues outside the entrance to the lodge caught me out after every game drive
The interior of the main lodge building
Night time decoration...
More colour. Jaci seems to like purple...
The gift shop. They stock really beautiful hand-made beaded/wire Wild Dogs.
Upstairs to the bar and a secluded lounge area
Did I mention that Jaci likes colour?
We stayed at the former...and I did not try the latter...
A Monarch butterfly, especially for my wife
Unlike the statue at the entrance, this elephant IS real...
Someone has to move the sh*t...in this case, a Dung beetle
One of the game viewing highlights from this lodge.
