Not the Big 5...our Madikwe adventure

I am not sure what type of lizard this is, but they were plentiful in the camp at Tau

I found this "kill" on the pathway at Jamala...

This Southern Masked Weaver builds with only his beak!

A first for me...a Woodland Kingfisher

One of the many dams in Madikwe

A Nile crocodile...

and a Pied Kingfisher share the same stretch of river

Our hosts from Jaci's leaving...

A Little Egret that we found in the same spot almost every day

Morning from Makanyane

Pre game drive at Makanyane

A pair of African Hawk Eagles...raptors make VERY messy nests.

Cape Laughing doves in the early morning light

A journey of  Giraffe...

some one has to do this...

a Dazzle of Zebra

A Monarch butterfly

Early morning...

At an evening drinks stop

Taking it slow in Madikwe...
I was amazed at how fast this Leopard Tortoise actually moved

Our hosts for the week...many thanks to all, staff, owners and rangers.

Our transfer company. Wynand was a great driver.
