My Samsonite after having its decals fitted.
I have to say that the check-in counter staff at ORT we so impressed,
that they upgraded my luggage (to priority) but not me.

KLM to Amsterdam

Aer Lingus to Dublin

Dublin Airport.
I did not get to see much of the exterior.

When I eventually cleared customs, mu luggage was waiting for me.

Tourism Ireland offices at the airport.
Very glad to check up on my taxi for me.
My suitcase stood patiently...

Awaiting the arrival of the taxi.
Both the cabbies to and from the airport were great to chat to.
I was very impressed considering my return to the airport was at 03h30

My first hotel room.
The Raddisson Blu in Dublin
You have to admit that the suitcase does look very elegant.
While I was having breakfast, it took time to make friends.,
with the bags from the rest of the group
Time to board the bus.
Open, but not unpacked...

This was about as "unpacked" as I got.

Back on the bus AGAIN.
My Clik camera bag wanted to get in on the action
A selfie?
Or reflecting on the experience?

My room in Dingle had the best view of the entire trip.
Not that the Samsonite could see out of the window

The final hotel room.
The Hilton, Dublin.
So sad to say goodbye.
Both my suitcase and I had a wonderful time.

This was the coast line that we were on.
It is 2500km long...and we therefore only got to do a portion.

Finally, after a 45 minute wait...
*DRUMROLL*
My 69cm Samsonite S'Cure returns.
And in so doing, it completes its first International trip
While on tour, I managed to do several interviews with a variety of people.
Not with John at the South Pole Inn.
He had no problem with me taking a picture, but to to keen to chat.
Listen to some of the interviews via this link:

We were on such a tight schedule, that when a call came in to do a radio interview,
I handled it from the back seat while parked on the side of the road near Annascaul
Martina Clanty (Failte Ireland) and I did a brief interview on this station.

This was a "take no prisoners" tour...
Not for the faint hearted, but a HECK of a lot of fun...
