I arrive after an 18 hour bus ride from Johannesburg.
The last time I was in a seat for that length of time, I was flying to Bangkok.
I was starving and the General Manager organised me a snack...
and a cappuccino.
Part of the reception area.
The area in front of the reception desk.
A corner for quiet contemplation,
or waiting to be collected.
My luxury room.
And product placement 101...
My suitcase stood up to the rigors of bus travel really well
I found these snacks in my room...
The bathroom has both a bath and a shower.
Another view of the room
The view from my front door...
The old and new,
side by side...
A touch of stained glass...
The recently refurbished Glass Lounge.
It has a well stocked bar.
The colours fit in really well.
A relaxing area to "chill" in after a meeting or a conference.
Or just to hang out and have a cocktail.
The dining room
Some of the wines that are available...
And this is where you can work off dinner...
A view of the pool and conference facility
Looking toward Table Mountain
The refurbished deck/pool area
