Jamala Madikwe game drives in B&W

My camera was NEVER far away...
I decided to go "old school" with this posting.
I still believe that B&W and sepia have a place in modern digital photography.

On a morning stroll...perhaps breakfast is on his mind?

We had been following a coalition of three brothers,
when this one stopped, lay down and voiced his disapproval.

"I am sorry, but your trunk call cannot be made at this time.
There seems to be a technical problem"

Down and dusty...

Giants of the bushveld

How long will we still see a sight like this in the wild?

Jumping for joy?
Escaping from a predator?
Happy to have survived the night?

"This guard duty is REALLY tiring"!

"Close your mouth, your breath smells
from playing with the elephant dung"

There is a small Roman Catholic chapel
near the Park administration buildings

Also this wall that has a statue of the Virgin Mary

Play time...
These two young bulls were having a great time chasing away
other animals from the Jamala Madikwe waterhole.
When they had the place to themselves, they engaged in a mock battle

"Its five o'clock somewhere"
"Time for a drink"...

Wet whiskers.

Time to hit the road

"You owe me money"...

"Here's looking at YOU kid".

Solitary Bull

"I'm not allowed to play poker with my friends"
"Why, I hear you ask"
"'Cause I'm a cheetah"!
