NJ MORE Field Guide College trainees and staff have their say.

I spent four days with this group of trainees as they
worked towards completing their Trails module.
I chatted to some of them about why they were at the College,
and where they hoped to be in 2016.
This is what they shared with me...

Paul gave up his dogs and an 18 year corporate career to
live his dream.

Damien is jumping off the rock.
Mark and Ludwig are in the water.

Not all fun and games.
Field guides have to be fit!

Although Anke seemed to be in a contemplative mood in this picture,
she an I chatted quite a lot.
The rehabilitation centre that she mentions in the sound clip
is the Ann van Dyk Cheetah Centre near Hartebeespoort Dam.

This is Stephanie Kulak,
NJ More Field Guide College manager.
I asked her about the college

and this is what she shared with me:

Lead instructor, Massimo Rebuzzi who shared this with me:

Bruce Lawson helped out with the Trails Guide module.
He has in excess of 13000 hours of walking experience!
This is what he shared with me:

is the official "Travel & Things" bush kit sponsor.
Many thanks to both Graham and Howard
for getting me kitted out in record time!

This is Thato at the ORT branch of Europcar.
What a nice young man...service with a smile.
I had no idea where the car rentals were at the airport,
and despite some confusing ACSA signage
I eventually found what I was looking for.
I had requested a Stepway which was ready and waiting for collection.
To date, all my interactions with this company have been
fast, efficient and very friendly.
Time to head North...well NW actually...
The Waterberg beckons.
