A guest posting by Michael Westraadt, camp manager at Tented Adventures, Pretoruiskop, Kruger National Park

Time for another guest posting...

"Hello, my name is Michael Westraadt
and I am the camp manager at Tented Adventures, Pretoriuskop.
I enjoy all aspects of life, but I am really at home when I am in the bush.
I have been a guide for more than 10 years,
but I believe that I have found my niche here at Tented Adventures.
Not only to a get to interact with guests from all over the world,
but I have an awesome team that I get to work with on a daily basis".

The early morning light is the best time for capturing images like this.
This is one of several Cheetah that we often find roaming relatively close to our camp.
There is nothing like a "cat" sighting to get the heart racing and the cameras clicking.
I am truly grateful to have this vista as my "office"...

I get to conduct game drives on a regular basis,
but seeing that our camp site is home to a variety of bird life,
I often get images like this without even getting into a vehicle
A Black -collared Barbet feeding on some fruit.

A Saddle-billed Stock proudly patrolling an area looking for a meal.
It is an uncommon resident and a nomad so a sighting like this
gets both me and my guests excited.

They might be plentiful, but as a result Impala get "forgotten" about on drives.
Personally, I believe that they are beautiful creatures
and I encourage my guests to enjoy every sighting of them.

A very unusual daytime sighting for me and some visitors.
A Honey badger having something to eat.
These feisty creatures are nocturnal, so to discover on out in the open was very special.
When planning your next safari adventure, consider coming to visit me and the team
at Tented Adventures, Pretoriuskop.

GammaTek is my powerbank supplier of choice.
One of my problems is often lack of battery power
if I have been using the camera on my phone.
I have tried many "powerbanks",
but the majority drain before they can fully recharge my device.
This is where this Powerbank has the edge...
it can recharge my phone up to 7 times,
before it needs to be recharged.
